What size of the engine do you use and what rpm has that engine?

Good info - I’m still going through the prop testing phase myself. Not sure that re-sizing the prop on concrete is the best scientific approach :) The best prop I ran was a cut down 3 blade (28mm). Went up to 30mm and it induced a roll that would of flipped the boat. Went like a corkscrew! I’ll be having a look at your other clips. Good posting

Thanks. The next outing after this video resulted in a flip and consequent swim. Then I accidentally ran the propellor on some concrete, quickly reducing the propellor diameter. We thought the next propellor didn’t have enough pitch - so we upgraded again. The lastest propellor caused the boat to flip very quickly - too big (another swim). Video of an earlier video showing the first effort with a smaller propellor and smaller, lower voltage battery is called “Fabe’s RC electric boat trial”.

It looks very pro. Very neat. Love the straight runs. I’ve had problems with weight distribution and battery position with mine. Doesn’t seem to affect the factory boats. Nice job.

It is a balsa hull to my own design - very flat like the old plywood (fulls size) skimmers. It has flipped over a couple of times while cornering - that’s why Fabe slows it right down on the corners. The battery weighs it down to the left, but I think my hull design is a bit flawed. Oh well, it goes ok in a straight line!

Nice clip, what boat is it?
