hi i am looking to build up a boat i have to make into a rc bait boat all i have is the hull and wanted to buy the bits i need from ebay.
I know i need a remote unit and reciever and i want the boat to go forwards,backwards ,right and left i also want to make a feature to tilt a hopper so am not quite sure how many servos i will need or what type of remote and reciever is best also what size motor will be best any help will be most grateful and how it is all meant to go together any help is gratefuly excepted.

I rekon you'll need a speed controller to attach to the motor, and two servos, one to control the rudder (left and right) and another to tilt the bait hopper. not sure about current makes and motors, but used a Futaba controller and 540 motor on my fast cat hull a few years back. You probably wont want something that powerful on a bait boat though….you don't wanna scare the fish off!!!
