Lowrance never disappoints when it comes to introducing new advances in technology with its line of GPS chartplotters, and the High Definitions System Series is no exception. These highend HDS units have improved angler control features with a FlyWheel scroll dial, plus softtouch command keys. You’ll fly through control functions with the fast and easy userfriendly menu display. View cuttingedge mapping options in a compact size that can be used alone or networked with compatible transducers for the ultimate angling tools. You’ll see targeted fishing waters on a full SVGAcolor display that renders realistic contours with navigation details. The splitscreen option is great for viewing topographical maps and bottom structure maps of the same location simultaneously. Search for prime locations even when you’re exposed to bright sunlight thanks to the SolarMAX PLUS wideangle display with a purewhite LED screen and keypad backlighting that fully adjusts to zerodim for night viewing. We started with a modified V hull design featuring multiple planing strakes for breaking up water surface tension. Surface tension is the biggest drag-causing factor on any race boat, and the Caribbean Cruiser’s planing strakes are placed at several points on the hull’s bottom to defeat this speed-robbing phenomenon. As a result-this boat literally flies over the water’s surface.
